This is a photo of records I found at my house. I set this still-life up and chose to photograph it because I really liked the composition and use of diagonal lines. I used iPhoto to make it black and white, but I found color added an interesting effect to the picture and I like it better. I also added some contrast so the designs on the covers of the records would stand out.
I'm definitely gonna have to say that the black and white shot > the colour shot. Since records are your subjects, b & w definitely contributes to the vintage feel of the shot. The shot is alright, but I don't think your composition is the best. I like the idea, I like some of the lines, and I lie the pictures on the records, but your composition confuses my eye and I'm not sure what I should focus on. Overall, pretty good.
