Grafitti

Contribution by Niki
I purposely left the building in the background to sort of form a contrast between the different lifestyles in the city. I also liked having the trees in the foreground for a sort of framing of the wall. In photoshop I changed it so that everything but the graffiti black and white to emphasis the artwork. I am inspired by graffiti...I think it is beautiful.

  1. I actually really like how this shot turned out. Graffiti is always an interesting subject. The tree branches create a great deal of movement throughout the piece. I really like the building in the background as well. The big tree stump is somewhat distracting.

  2. What a cool photo! Your composition is really great! I like how you left everything black and white except the graffiti. I also like how much contrast there is between the ground and the wall. The textures in your photo really help to bring more interest into your photo. The tree branches really help to frame the over all image and help to bring your eye around the photo. I really like how you have so many "layers" in your photo, it brings your eye up. I don't think the tree stump is to distracting...maybe you can layer mask it out? Good job!
